You may have noticed some strange things happening on urban farmgirl tonight.  I reorganized the site a little bit.  I have cut down on content dramatically since much of it wasn’t being used.  I kept my important pieces though (genealogy and pas de deux). I’m hoping to make some design changes next.

FYI, this won’t be nearly as ground breaking as my last post. And I’m also refraining from using a LOTR reference here (One Blog to rule them all, and in the darkness…oh right, I’m not doing that).

My recent run-in with some major websites gave me an idea. Meyerweb has multiple RSS feeds which lets people choose between technical and personal topics, or get the whole kit-n-caboodle. That’s what I should do! I’m always posting a ton of personal stuff on here, but it’s got enough smattering of technical stuff that Steno’s eyes glaze over frequently (I can see her eyes glazing over right now). So what if she could read just the personal stuff. I probably won’t get this done for a while, cause face it, I love all 10 of my blog readers. But I thought it was a cool idea.

Sorry about the website issues the past couple of days.  I too have been changing servers.  The DNS had to go through before I could upload my db for the blog.  Then I had to get the subdomain working before I could post and that all just took a while.  It’s all up and working as far as I know now.  The genealogy thingy included.  My pictures db is going to disappear as we are combining those.  There were a lot of pictures that could go on there anyways.  So look for a combined photo db at markandrebekah.net.

In other news, I have luggage!  And so I have all my souvenirs and Christmas gifts that I purchased.

I’ll have some more news, but not just yet.

I do apologize for not writing.� We had that tornado thing – which Mark and I are very thankful that nobody was hurt and we are both ok.� Then Mark & I had the flu last week.� It was pretty nasty, but I’ll spare you the details.� As Mark said – nature is really kicking our butts.� Can I say that?� I did switch so I didn’t have a bad url.� Anyways.� Life is getting back in order and hopefully I’ll think of something to write about soon.� G’night

A while ago, I asked for CSS Suggestions.  Some of you may have noticed that I made the CSS Tutorials part of my website.  I have the last two of those suggestions ready to post tonight.  So far I have done, Floats – 2 Column layout, Box Model, Fonts (using ems and keeping them adjustable), and Centered Layout (how to compensate for IE’s stupidity).  The first two are a little simplified because they can get too complex to get anything out of it otherwise.

I’m looking for new suggestions though.  Would one on CSS buttons be good?  I don’t know.  If there are no suggestions, I’ll probably just let them all be.

Oh, also, if there are things that don’t make sense or are wrong in the current articles, please let me know.
