I was thinking yesterday about how to have a blog that is interesting/engaging. I realized that it isn’t about how often you post as much it is about the quality of what you post. Now, you have to post at least every 2 weeks or so in order for this to work. But every 2 weeks isn’t that much of a burden. I think I can do that. What is harder for me is the good topics. I tend to think that an idea is lame or not interesting and never come up with better ideas.

The other thing that got me thinking was a question mom asked me. How long does it take for a blog to generate comments? And I explained that it wasn’t just about how long (now realizing I never answered her question directly), but it’s about engaging the readers.

So how do I write about things that matter?
